TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

BOOKINGS

To check availability and to book, please call us on 01305 854321 or e-mail. E-mail bookings should be considered provisional until confirmed by us.

CANCELLATIONS OR SHORTENING OF PERIODS BOOKED

Booking cancelled at least 30 days in advance of arrival date - Full Refund of deposit.
Booking cancelled less than 30 days in advance of arrival - refund of deposit depends on how many days we can re-let. We will do our utmost to re-let the kennel/cat chalet you have reserved from the waiting list.

If you pick up your pet earlier than the period you have booked then no refund of any days un-used will be made.

HEALTH OF YOUR PET

All bookings are taken on the basis that your pet is fit and well. Unfortunately they can develop chronic or acute medical conditions including incontinence, heart or kidney failure or have accidents prior to coming to stay with us. An existing condition may worsen meaning that they may not be fit by the time of your reservation. It is essential that you contact us prior to arrival to discuss your pet’s requirements to enable us to determine whether or not we wish to accept responsibility for them should this happen.

Please note that it is not sufficient to ask your vet if your pet is fit to come into the kennels or cattery. We need to consider whether we are willing to accept the responsibility for your pet in your absence. Failure to advise us of these health issues and turning up on the day of arrival may mean that your pet is refused admittance.

No dog can be admitted without a current annual inoculation against Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus. Additionally cover against Infectious Bronchitis commonly called KENNEL COUGH is preferred during our busy periods but not essential. Please call or email for advice.

Admittance will also be refused on arrival if your pet shows any symptoms of possible infectious illnesses such as KENNEL COUGH, CAT FLU, MANGE or similar conditions. We will admit your pet if a vet confirms your pet is clear of any infectious illness and of course reimburse any costs incurred.

DELAYED COLLECTION

In the busy periods of the year it is often impossible to extend bookings. If you consider that there is a possibility of delay we ask you to arrange for somebody else to collect your pet on the agreed day of departure. We need to be advised of the name, telephone number and vehicle registration of this person in advance. Please ask for a form to complete giving these details.
Please remember to tell this person of this arrangement too!

CHARGES

We charge for day of arrival and day of departure including all days in between regardless of the time of day your pet arrives or leaves. A kennel/ chalet is reserved exclusively for them from 10.00am on arrival day to 6.00pm on departure day. Payment is by cash or cheque only, we regret that we are unable to accept credit cards due to high bank charges.
